# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It looks impressive enough to serve at a dinner party, but takes less time than scrolling through your phone.
  • The combination of crisp fruit and melting chocolate hits that sweet spot between indulgent and refreshing.
  • You can customize the toppings based on what's in your pantry, so it never feels repetitive.
02 -
  • Wet fruit is the enemy; any moisture on the surface will cause the chocolate to clump or slide right off, so pat everything dry with paper towels.
  • Don't refrigerate longer than a few hours or the chocolate can develop a dusty bloom from temperature changes—serve within the same day if possible.
03 -
  • If the banana slices start to brown, toss them lightly with a little lemon juice to keep them looking fresh and prevent oxidation.
  • Double-dip any piece that looks like it needs more chocolate coverage; there's no such thing as too much chocolate, only chocolate that didn't melt properly.
