# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It comes together with everyday vegetables you probably already have sitting in your crisper drawer
  • The smoked paprika adds a subtle depth that makes people think you spent way more time on it than you actually did
02 -
  • Blending half the soup with an immersion blender is the single best way to get a thick creamy texture without adding any cream at all
  • A squeeze of lemon juice at the very end wakes up every single flavor in the bowl and you will wonder why you ever served soup without it
03 -
  • Cut your vegetables as close to the same size as humanly possible because one undercooked potato chunk ruins the whole spoonful
  • The smoked paprika is doing heavy lifting back there so do not skip it or substitute with regular paprika and expect the same result
