# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • You get that gorgeous layered sunset effect without needing any bartending skills or alcohol
  • The orgeat syrup brings this sophisticated almond sweetness that makes it feel like a real cocktail, not just juice
02 -
  • Fresh lime juice makes or breaks this drink - bottled juice has this weird metallic aftertaste that clashes with the delicate orgeat
  • Let the grenadine drizzle down the side of the glass instead of pouring it directly into the center if you want those layers to stay separate and pretty
03 -
  • Chill your glasses in the freezer for at least 15 minutes before serving - this keeps everything colder longer and makes the drink feel more luxurious
  • Invest in a decent jigger or measuring spoon, because the ratios between sweet and acid are what make this taste sophisticated rather than just like fruit punch
